Our Eco Club is an active initiative that encourages students to become environmentally conscious, responsible, and proactive citizens. Through various activities and awareness programmes, students are motivated to understand the importance of nature conservation and contribute towards building a cleaner, greener, and healthier environment.
Key Activities & Initiatives
- Tree Plantation Drives: Encouraging students to plant and nurture trees to promote greenery and biodiversity.
- Cleanliness Campaigns: Developing awareness about cleanliness, hygiene, and maintaining a litter-free campus.
- Waste Management: Promoting waste segregation, recycling, and the principles of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle (3Rs).
- Water Conservation: Spreading awareness about saving water and preventing its wastage.
- Energy Conservation: Encouraging responsible use of electricity and other natural resources.
- Environmental Awareness Programmes: Organising activities, competitions, rallies, and special observances on important environmental days.
- Plastic-Free Initiatives: Motivating students to reduce single-use plastic and adopt eco-friendly alternatives.
- Nature Awareness Activities: Helping students understand the importance of plants, animals, biodiversity, and ecological balance.
